SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT RE: REUNION ROPES COURSE

Hello Campers!!!

Great News....even though we have not hit 50 reservations for the Ropes Course, the generous folks at Boojum Institute have agreed to conduct the course! We still have just a few slots open. So if you know of anyone that would still like to participate, let me know ASAP.

The activity will be held on the campgrounds and there will be 2 sessions – one from 1-3PM and one from 3-5PM on Saturday, July 9.

Remember:

  • You do NOT need to be athletic to participate. It is a team building experience for folks with a wide range of abilities
  • For ages 6 years old and up
  • Don't pass up this opportunity! We are getting a 50% discount thanks to a private donor!!!
  • $25 per person

Friday Night Welcome: Celebrate Our Connections!

Saturday ~ Day One: Blessings of Community

  • Focus Scripture: Acts 2: 1-11, 41-47
    Pentecost shows the power of the Holy Spirit to build community and be of "one heart and one soul."

Sunday ~ Day Two: Unity in Diversity

  • Focus Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:4-12
    All gifts are activated by one and the same Spirit, who allots to each one individually just as the Spirit chooses.

Monday ~ Day Three: Grace and Generosity

  • Focus Scripture: John 4:1-29
    Jesus asked a Samaritan woman at the well to get him water, going outside social convention. He ministered to her, but was also ministered to by her.

Tuesday ~ Day Four: Balance

  • Focus Scripture: "Be Still and Know that I am God"

Wednesday ~ Day Four: Worth of All Persons

  • Focus Scripture: Acts 10:34
    ...Peter taught, "God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears [God] and does what is right is acceptable to [God]."

Thursday ~ Day Five: All Are Called

  • Focus Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-6
    Lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.
